Our New Year's Day White Party should be a very special party, with an exciting theme and an amazing DJ line up which includes heavyweights, Jonathan Ulysses, the resident DJ of Space in Ibiza, and Carl Kennedy who lives between New York and Sydney. 
We plan to start 2009 with a 10 hour party (4pm to 2am) that will keep you smiling throughout the rest of 2009. Our New Year's Day White Party will be taking place at The Crystal Palace, a beautiful castle like structure that sits within Luna Park and has unobstructed views right on the edge of Sydney Harbour, overlooking the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. Those of you who wish to arrive in style to this party, might consider arriving by Water Taxi given that Milson's Point wharf is literally one minute away from this venue. 
New Year's Day is a time for great optimism, so we will be turning a blind eye to the media and its torrents of gloom, and starting our very own Summer of Love. We are calling this party "Hippie Chic" - so think Peace, Love, and Happiness - as you consider what to wear . As always that means, coming predominantly in white but be prepared to accessorise with plenty of vivid colours, big smiles, bright flowers, and other props. 
As mentioned earlier, we will be starting this party at 4pm, and will divide the venue into two areas. One will be themed with plenty of cushions, ottomans, assorted exotica and will be inspired by Marrakech - a favoured meeting place for world travelling hippie sophisticates of the late 1960s. The other room, the main room, will be more fabulous and less bohemian in it's interpetation of the theme, so imagine something out of Austin Powers. 

DJs at this event will include Jonathan Ulysses, Carl Kennedy, Bill Fragos, Corin Hansford, and Eddie Coulter. Working alongside our DJs, will be our much loved percussionists, Sergio and Claudio, as well as countless performers and dancers 
As always, Icebergs gym will be offering a year's free membership to the most glamorous guest. For our part, we will be offering free tickets to The White Party for one year to the person with the most original and creative costume. 
Tickets are available starting now, with booking details appearing at the end of this email. Justine and Paolo will be handling all internet ticket sales, whereas Dan Mor and Michelle Latoza will be managing private ticket sales through their Facebook accounts.
